Stone Corner...

Here we have a stone corner which forms part of the support structure of Vauxhall Bridge.

Notice how the wall/corner is discoloured by the Thames water which this far upstream would be a mixture of salt and fresh water. This is a very simple grey/green corner with vertical/horizontal lines of the stone blocks that form the structure to support the bridge/embankment.

The Clash of Colours...

Well this corner certainly tests your eye sight but in a very odd way it works...

If you happen to be walking up or down Bermondsey Street SE1 you can't miss this building for it and many others have chosen paint jobs that remind us of a georgian past or like this corner of the very bright present.

The pink and orange certainly clash but the black just looks out of place however the blend works...maybe this is because of the grey paving slabs ?
