Red Bricks/Grey Slabs...

We are at the corner of Howland and Whitfield Street just off London's Tottenham Court Road and we have a most beautiful raised corner made of red bricks and grey paving slabs.

A question for you all how many corners do you see ? Well the answer should be in the hundreds for the bricks making up either side of the wall displays four the grey slabs have corners and then the wall itself forms a rather lovely corner with pointed lines of mortar holding the hold pile of nicely tied in bricks in place.

I must say that the red bricks have formed a near perfect vertical line with the odd rough edge.

We've given the world wide web bollards can we now give the web a corner or two to look at.

The Corner Shot...

We're back with a beauty...

The Corner Shot is back with a stunning picture/shot of a beautiful corner at Queen Square and Boswell Street WC.1.

The horizontal and vertical lines of this building and windows make a very pleasing corner to the eye coupled with the magnolia and red brick colour clash that sets this building/corner off for me.

The street signs though show a time and era that is different to the one we live in today with Boswell Street displaying the "borough of holborn" and Queen Square in a near dark opaque blue.
