Bricks...

With the advent of glass has a material used to make buildings what a throw back to the past this corner is in the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.

In fact this corner is part of a wall to a National Grid Gas Holder site on Imperial Road near London's trendy Chelsea Harbour.

The corner though is a rather robust brick column with two walls extending outwards. I do love the street sign on the left hand wall letting us know of the whereabouts of Imperial Square. The bricks though look old even dirty but they have character and strength.

This corner is certainly in need for a little bit of a repair and a bit of pointing too.
